We know that recruiting and hiring in a virtual setting poses new challenges.
Teacher recruitment and hiring has always been a daunting challenge for both schools seeking to hire diverse, high-quality teacher talent and for teachers looking to find the right position. In the current climate, schools are now needing to make all recruitment and hiring efforts virtual and have communicated concern about their ability to source and hire candidates in this new way.
We’ve heard from many of you about these concerns and at EdFuel, it is important to us to provide responsive support to the education sector whenever and however we can. To that end, we can provide direct support where we can build the talent systems, keep the talent partner in the loop, and provide training for them and their teams on implementation.
We work side-by-side with talent partners to assess the needs of their organization, build systems that work best for them and their organizations, and build their skill in implementing and managing talent systems.

- Develop and/or refine hiring profiles
- Design a comprehensive virtual hiring and selection system including interview guides and scripts, rubrics, staff training, anti-bias safeguards, equity checks, and systems for logisticsTalent Matching
Provide support with resume reviews, job postings, and online searches and outreach on behalf of the school
Matriculation Support
Design and implement a system to maintain contact with high quality candidates and/or new hires (i.e. scheduled email blasts, calendar of phone calls, staff ambassadors, communication tracking, virtual “welcome” meetings, etc.)
Virtual Recruitment and Hiring Workshops
Design and facilitate virtual workshops highlighting national best practices and case studies in effective virtual recruitment and hiring strategies
